Gardeners Tip

Research has shown that cutting the grass too short is one of the quickest ways to spoil our lawns. As a general guide lawns should be cut no shorter than a quarter of an inch and left no longer than one and a half inches. The frequency of cut should vary from once a week to once a fortnight depending on the time of year, during the winter months a light “topping” is all that’s required.
